USA: Radio station stops playing 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'

Dean Martin's daughter says she's not going to stop singing the holiday classic "Baby It's Cold Outside" even though the song has been getting an "icy" reputation, according to FOX News.

The CBS piece mentioned San Francisco radio station KOIT is conducting a poll to see if the song, which it banned Monday, should remain off its playlist.

"This song is not about an abuse of power, it is about flirtation and that is how flirtation was in those days", Susan said, adding that she doesn't want the song connected to the #MeToo movement.

"Now, I do realize that when the song was written in 1944, it was a different time, but now while reading it, it seems very manipulative and wrong", he said.

The classic holiday song "Baby It's Cold Outside", has been pulled from a Madison, Wisconin radio station's airwaves.

"I totally get what you're saying about the context", he acknowledged, "but that powerful reaction has to be dealt with".
