Cardi B ordered to stay away from women in strip club fight

Bronx rapper Cardi B appeared in court Friday to face charges stemming from a strip club fight in Queens.

She was supposed to be appear in court on Monday after a summons was issued on October 1 but she failed to turn up.

As we previously reported, Cardi is accused of ordering a beat down of two women, Baddie Gi and Jade The women say they suffered physical injuries and mental anguish when a group assaulted them in Angels, a New York City strip club in August. "We expect the matter is going to be resolved expeditiously", her lawyer said at the time. A pair of sisters who are bartenders, Baddie Gi and Jade (real names Rachel Wattley, 21, and Sarah Wattley, 23), claim that Cardi B ordered her entourage to beat them up.

Queens Assistant District Attorney Ryan Nicolosi asked for bail of $2,500, "as the defendant appears to come when it's most convenient for her", a reference to a previous missed court appearance.

The rapper also revealed a picture of their five-month-old daughter Kulture, which was eagerly anticipated by her fans.

Friday's court date isn't her only commitment.

The 26-year-old - dressed in a belted black coat with a fur collar and a wide-brimmed beige hat, with rainbow-colored hair and silver sparkly nail extensions - was in court as she received five Grammy nominations. The couple got married in September 2017 and welcomed a baby girl in July.

A judge has issued orders of protection against platinum rapper Cardi B in a case involving a melee at a NY strip club. Another video showed Cardi B being escorted out of the event by security.
