Liverpool set Premier League defensive record in Burnley win

Because you get the player as well.

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez could be out for six weeks after fracturing his left leg during Wednesday's victory over Burnley.

Unhappy Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp feels the days of the slide tackle are over, after Joe Gomez suffered an ankle injury at Turf Moor.

"It happened four or five times, everybody likes it, but Joe is injured, and probably not only a little bit".

If City get this game out of the way and don't lose, I don't see how they don't go through the whole league season without losing. He also hit back at Klopp with reference to another first-half incident, suggesting his opposite number had failed to talk about Daniel Sturridge appearing to dive when winning a free-kick just outside Burnley's penalty area. Dyche told his post match press conference. For me, he's one of the best managers in the country.

"I think Ben Mee's was a fantastic tackle and I imagine that a player, who seems to me an honest player, like Gomes, I think he realised that".

In a later tweet, the company joked: "morning everyone. if you happen to be going to McDonald's today, drive safe". From there, the BK app will allow you to place your order and redirect you to the nearest Burger King.

"It's amusing, he didn't reference Daniel Sturridge's cheating", Dyche said a news conference on Thursday.

"We send him our best if any injury occurred, but it's not from a bad tackle".

"And I thought we were effective in the way we mixed it - not enough - you have to win a game - but we've got to get back to being us, and get back to the consistency of being us".

Dyche said the Klopp didn't mention one particular issue when the managers seemingly exchanged some heated words following the match.

Another personal record set on Wednesday night went to Milner, who after helping his side take the lead, scored in the 50th Premier League match of his career.
