Mesut Ozil reacts to Arsenal’s thrilling NLD win v Spurs

Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-2 at the Emirates after coming from 2-1 down in the second half for arguably the biggest statement win of Emery's short reign at the club.

Sub Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead again and Lucas Torreira struck a fourth goal to seal the points, while Spurs were reduced to 10 men with Vertonghen sent off for a second yellow late on.

Brazilian defender Eder Militao, who is now on the books of Porto, is subject of increasing interest from a number of Premier League clubs, with Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United all keen, the Mail says. It is a very special victory to give our supporters.

Miguel Almiron: Newcastle are continuing their interest in the Atlanta United player, while West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal are also keen, according to the Newcastle Chronicle. For us it's the same, special, but above all three points. "But let's not forget, last week they were winning against Chelsea also, Tottenham, with a very big match and today they are losing against us".

"We want to prepare in the best possible way to have the best performance".

It was a bold move from Emery, but one he said he had considered even before the match started.

"Some players would sulk and say, "I'm leaving at the end of the season, so it doesn't really matter", but his attitude has been spot on".

Mesut Ozil's future at the Emirates has been called into question, with the Sun reporting the playmaker could be heading to Inter Milan in the summer. Ozil was left out of the squad and the club said he had back spasms, having been left on the bench against Bournemouth last weekend.

"I had my back to it all so I'm not too sure what happened", he said of the scuffle.

"This is a good day to speak about players who played", he added when quizzed if Ozil had been told on Saturday that he would not play.
