Global Citizen Festival: Beyoncè and her jaw-dropping outfits

Wearing a flowing dark pink dress made up of wide ruffles and boasting a plunging neckline, the acclaimed songstress joined the British redhead for a moving rendition of his hit ballad at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday.

Most people had a good time and got home safely, but the night turned ugly for some when they were accosted by thugs as they left the stadium.

The festival, which is a part of the Global Citizens movement to "end extreme poverty", commemorates 100 years since Nelson Mandela was born. It says many people won tickets to Sunday's concert through charity work and petition-signing.

Makhura said he was "disturbed by criminality" after the festival at FNB Stadium in Soweto.

"There is no need to blame South African police that there was no Uber, there was no transport and all that - that should be asked from the organisers", said police minister Bheki Cele who called on victims of crime to come forward.

While Princess Diana , Princess Anne and the Duchess of Cambridge all opted to have their children at St. Mary's hospital in London, Meghan is looking into other "options", according to Vanity Fair .

The Global Citizen Festival has raised billions of Rands in funds aimed to alleviate poverty.

Global Citizen and another group backing the concert, the House of Mandela, urged South African police "to act swiftly and efficiently".

"There was one robbery that took place at Sasol garage which was reported to us and we arrested the suspect with regards to that".

Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, D'banj and Femi Kuti joined the likes of Jay Z, Beyonce, Usher and Ed Sheeran on stage at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival in South Africa.

"We as stadium management were not involved in the safety and security of the event as we would normally have been as we did with the Guns N' Roses concert last week Thursday", Grobbelaar said.
