Florida man bitten after jumping into alligator farm exhibit

A man wearing Crocs has been left injured after he broke into a crocodile enclosure in Florida.

As you can imagine, the crocs were not happy.

The Florida Times-Union reports St. Augustine police responded Tuesday morning to reports of vandalism at the Alligator Farm Zoological Park.

At least one attacked him, causing wounds to his feet and leg.

Mr Hatfield, who was already facing burglary and damaging property/criminal mischief charges, then chose to dive into a pond filled with crocodiles.

Commenting on Trump's pick, Christie said he wanted to finish his term as New Jersey governor. "He said it should be shut down". He said he had been talking to his colleagues about pushing ahead with investigations, starting with Mr Trump's tax returns.

Mr Hatfield was apparently bitten on the foot while he sat on the bank of the pond and was taken to hospital to receive treatment.

The crocodiles were not hurt. "It was later discovered the two calls were related", police said.

Surveillance video obtained by Action News Jacksonville shows the man standing on the walkway and then leaping over the rail and into the water at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm.

The first came at 6:50 a.m., a neighbor saying a suspicious person was crawling in a Holly Lane backyard across Anastasia Boulevard from the 125-year-old park, clad only in underwear, said police spokeswoman Cecilia Aiple.

It was not clear on Wednesday evening whether Hatfield had retained an attorney, and attempts to reach Hatfield were unsuccessful.
