Donald Trump, CNN's Jim Acosta Argue at Press Conference

Trump moved on to another reporter, but Acosta stood up again and began asking Trump another question.

"When you report fake news.you are an enemy of the people", he said.

"Pardon me, ma'am", Acosta said.

"I'll tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them", Trump said.

BTW. another fantastic moment - Trump was asked if he'd comply with the inevitable demand by the House to release his tax returns, and the Prez essentially said it was too complicated for Congress to understand.

'I think you should let me run the country and you run CNN, ' he snapped.

"It was not an invasion", Acosta explained.

Health care, immigration and economy top issues as Americans cast midterm votes
Voters go to a polling place to cast their ballot during the midterm elections on November 6, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. Democrats felt increasingly optimistic about their chances of taking back control of the House.

"That's enough. That's enough", Trump said as aides tried to take the microphone from Acosta. "And if you did it well your ratings would be much better".

Trump then asked Acosta to put down the microphone before briefly stepping away from the podium.

"You are a rude bad person", he added.

The president's mood turned sour Wednesday after reporters pressed him on why he referred to a migrant caravan making its way to the US on foot through Mexico as an "invasion".

"I want to challenge you on one of the statements that you made in the tail end of the campaign in the midterms", Acosta told Trump at a press conference following the midterm elections. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is disgusting, and the way you treat other people is awful. "You shouldn't treat people that way". It's such a hostile media.

"I don't believe that", Trump continued, adding, "Why do I have my highest poll numbers with African-Americans?".
