This one stat proves that Tom Brady is superior to Aaron Rodgers

Football fans were treated on Sunday night to a meeting of two of the greatest.

It was within Tom Brady's grasp. Conversations over who's the greatest quarterback ever can simmer down and we can enjoy the spectacle as is.

The Patriots don't often see Rodgers, as the Patriots and Packers play only once every four years.

Mason (calf) and Schwenke (foot) were ruled out of the game with injuries on Friday.

"It's really day-to-day with him", Brady said.

"So, 7-2.it's a long way from 1-2, where we were".

For the first three quarters, the Packers were neck and neck with the Patriots, but it wasn't because of Rodgers. Rapoport even pointed to the Patriots offensive coordinator as a candidate for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching job. Obviously, at quarterback, we're in a different situation than at running back or lineman where we have the natural opportunity to have longevity based on performance.

That left Rodgers answering for his offense.

FALCONS 38, WASHINGTON 14: In Landover, Maryland, Julio Jones ended his 12-game touchdown drought, and Matt Ryan threw for 350 yards and four scores as Atlanta extended its winning streak to three games.

The Spice Girls Are Reuniting

Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are widely regarded as two of the best quarterbacks of their generation. Now the roles might be reversed, and Adams could be the player who gets extra attention.

Sounds like Brady's next #TB1K has a backing soundtrack. Taking over at their own 31, Brady picked up 14 yards on three plays before the game took its first unusual turn. Away from the play, Jermaine Whitehead seemed to slap David Andrews in the face. Heck, but then maybe Le'Veon Bell will actually be playing. RB James White was on the field for all 10 snaps and capped it off with the 8-yard run for a touchdown. "He's got every skill you need to be a great quarterback", he continued. But he did wind up leading the Patriots in rushing with 61 yards on 11 carries.

Locally, the NBC broadcast generated a 37.9 household rating and 59 market share in the Boston market, which is the Patriots' best local rating of the 2018 season. White and Patterson were stuffed on first and second downs. He reads coverages well, very accurate throwing the ball. "From pure quarterback play, I think this is definitely one you want to watch". If so, White becomes the easiest play on the entire slate.

Rodgers and his teammates get another crack at ending another flawless record when they visit Gillette Stadium and try to hand the New England Patriots their first home loss of the season. That's because all of the kneeldowns Brady has taken - either before halftime or to ice out victories late in the fourth quarter - have substantially cut into his career yardage. It was a brilliant play and throw nonetheless.

Brady, who rushed for eight yards last week to pick up a first down in Buffalo, has shared some tongue-in-cheek social media posts in recent months about his quest for 1,000 yards.

Thomas, the former Denver receiver traded last week to Houston, finished with three receptions for 61 yards, but two of them were back-to-back for 31 and 18 yards on the Texans' opening touchdown drive.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling had some nice catches but they didn't result in much.

Just back from a quick trip to his native Puerto Rico with the World Series trophy, Alex Cora and a contingent of Red Sox players showed up to fire up the crowd.
