Samsung Galaxy S10 to skip the iris scanner

While this render is still based on rumours, it gives us an idea as to how the Galaxy S10 could look like if the rumours turn out to be true.

A couple of weeks back, Samsung launched its new smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Even as Samsung's screen-unlocking tech improved since its 2016 debut, it's still heavily crippled in regards to the type of input it can accept, which likely played a major role in the company's reported decision to scrap it altogether. Additionally, he continues to confirm that the fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S10 will be the only biometric feature on the phone.

Samsung is already working on its next-gen flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy F foldable handset, which will be released in the first half of next year. Then again any sort of high-tech components in the display is going to limit how far Samsung can stretch its screen across the body of the phone. The phone is expected to be thin at the top and at the edges of the bottom.

If there was a smartphone that the Samsung fans are waiting with eager, it is the Galaxy S10. Last week alone we read three reports about new design solutions that Samsung will try to introduce on their next devices belonging to the S-line. Variants such as SM-F900F and SM-F900N could belong to the European and Asian regions of the Galaxy F foldable phone.

Furthermore, the smartphone runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is fuelled by a 3800mAg battery. Samsung's Tetracell technology takes four pixels and merges them into one for improved low light performance, dividing the resolution by four but doubling the effective pixel size.

The bendable display does not hold a finger-print sensor like the S10, due to technical difficulties unique to its flexible screens, the people said.

According to earlier leaks, closed users will be available in 4 inches display, which is enough to perform basic functions without opening the smartphone, such as mail and messaging.
