Thousands participate in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues in north MS this time in West Point.

Breast cancer is the most common type of invasive cancer in women, and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in women, after lung cancer.

'In Ghana, majority of breast cancer patients report so late that in most cases treatment offered is ineffective and cure is often impossible, ' it notes. It is estimated that one in 28 women is likely to develop breast cancer during her lifetime.
