Anthony Martial breaks silence on Jose Mourinho rift

Anthony Martial breaks silence on Jose Mourinho rift

This was, in the second half at least, much more like it from United, as Anthony Martial proved his quality, Juan Mata pulled the strings and Paul Pogba strived to make amends for his terrible switch-off at Willian's corner that allowed Antonio Rudiger a free header for Chelsea's first goal.

Jose Mourinho's men struggled to build anything going forward in the first period, with Romelu Lukaku managing just nine touches all half. "He was very impolite but Sarri took care of the situation".

Sarri said: "I spoke with Jose afterwards and realised we were wrong".

The Portuguese manager went after a Chelsea assistant who appeared taunting near the Manchester United bench following Ross Barkley's last-minute equalizer at Stamford Bridge. Mistakes from centre backs have cost Manchester United numerous times already, most notably in defeats to Brighton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

The angry scenes at the final whistle will understandably claim much of the attention, with Mourinho reacting to some unnecessary gloating from Ianni. "I spoke immediately with the member of my staff and I told him to speak with Mourinho and say sorry".

Asked whether there could be a club punishment for Ianni, the Chelsea manager said: "I don't know at the moment, I want to speak to him after the game". It may fall to the club's hierarchy to make the call rather than Sarri himself. "Then after the goal of Martial, we did not play our football".

Dianne Buswell Breaks up With Anthony Quinlan
The pair began dating after Anthony's former co-star Gemma Atkinson introduced them following her own Strictly stint. According to The Sun , the split was prompted by concerns over Buswell's working relationship with Sugg.

"I want to play every game for three points". We put lots of "feet" in the last third in the first half.

"We defend mixed, so some of the players are in zone, some have individual opponents".

"'We can be happy with this point because we almost lost and we are still undefeated", he said.

Still, it would be good for him, and United, for the story to focus on football once again. I am really disappointed in this type of performance.

Jose Mourinho lost his temper after a last-second equalizer goal and tried to get up-close and personal with the Chelsea coach celebrating the goal. Kepa Arrizabalaga kept out Juan Mata's shot but Chelsea never properly cleared their lines and when Ashley Young had a go from the other side the ball took slight deflections off Jorginho and Rashford before reaching Martial, who fired in emphatically. The Football Association is likely to want an explanation and, in the circumstances, it was nearly a surprise Mourinho calmed down quickly enough to shake Maurizio Sarri's hand at the final whistle shortly afterwards.
