Carlos Hyde traded by Cleveland Browns to Jacksonville Jaguars

General manager John Dorsey solved the running back problem for head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley by trading lead back Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville.

A Jaguars spokesman confirmed the deal via Twitter, saying Jacksonville is sending a fifth-round pick to the Browns in the deal.

This was always going to be an experimental year for the Browns, which is the best way to explain why the Browns traded their starting running back Friday afternoon.

Fournette has missed several games this season with a hamstring injury and backup running back T.J. Yeldon is reportedly dealing with leg injuries as well.

Last winter’s flu season was even more deadly than you can imagine
While reactions to the flu shot may include a low-grade fever or muscle aches, the vaccine can not cause the flu virus. Last year, more than 80,000 Americans died from complications stemming from the flu.

Making Jacksonville's offence even more stagnant, the team is without its top two left tackles, its top two tight ends and its leading receiver from 2017.

The 28-year-old Hyde was off to an impressive start in Cleveland. Of the two, Chubb is more likely to be the featured back - should they continue to give the bulk of the carries to just one player. He's had just 19 carries this season. We need to get him more chances, but sometimes the game changes, you get behind and you need Duke Johnson out there because that's what he does well - catch the ball and run it.

Carlos Hyde was here to be the bridge to Nick Chubb, just as Tyrod Taylor was the bridge to Baker Mayfield.
