Elizabeth Warren Needs to Stand Down

This morning, The View's "Hot Topics" segment lived up to its name when the women clashed over Senator Elizabeth Warren's claims that she is part Native American.

"I feel betrayed because she wasn't". "If this were a Republican right now, if this were Ted Cruz coming out here, saying he was Native American, and he was.009 (percent), you would be going insane".

Trump dismissed the results, once again using his "Pocahontas" nickname he previously gave to her.

She also contributed a crab omelette recipe to a "Pow Wow Chow" Indian cookbook - which Boston radio host Howard Carr claimed was all but ripped from a French chef in a fancy New York City restaurant.

Mr Trump relishes a good fight, those close to him have said, and will hit back twice as hard when he has been attacked.

'You know the one good thing about her test is that there was so little - there was less than the average American, ' Trump said on Thursday at a midterm campaign rally in Missoula, Montana.

Warren was, at a few points during her academic career, described as minority faculty - at least once by her own election campaign on a forum.

"At Disneyland today with Senator Elizabeth Warren", the 51-year-old captioned a photo of him grinning next to a statue of a Native American at the California theme park.

This surely goes without saying, but yes, there's a trainer for every single Pokémon originating from Kanto. These Master Trainer's Pokemon will also have attacks that they usually can't get to further throw you off.

By releasing a DNA report on her heritage, Warren thought that she was putting to rest criticism, by President Trump and others, of her claim that she was part Native American - Cherokee.

The new controversy growing around Warren places the former Penn Law colleagues who have come out in support of her, in a more awkward position.

Cherokee Nation, the tribe Warren claimed to have a connection to, issued a statement accusing her of "undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage". This made it sound like Warren had less Native American DNA than the average European-American. This means between 98.44 percent and 99.9 percent not Native American, writes The Post.

But the results showing only a trace presence of Native-American lineage swiftly revived scrutiny of how she may have used that backstory in her professional pursuits.

Warren is ineligible for Cherokee membership.

Ms Warren, who is seen as a potential 2020 challenger to Mr Trump, appears to have followed the president's tactics, striking back nearly instantly at the president who continues to ridicule her claim of Native American ancestry.

But current DNA tests don't distinguish between North and South American indigenous ancestry, and the secretary of state of the Cherokee Nation said a DNA test "is useless to determine tribal citizenship."

'There's a distinction between citizenship and ancestry. They want to detach from it. Obviously President Trump's calling her Pocahontas has chaffed her to no end, since his ceaseless trolling of her always brings her charging out like a bull being baited by a toreador.
