Drake wanted to start a family with Rihanna

Drake revealed he had dreams of a fairytale life with Rihanna on LeBron's HBO show The Shop.

"As life takes shape and teaches you your own lessons, I end up in this situation where I don't have the fairy tale, like, 'Oh, Drake started a family with Rihanna and this is like so flawless, '" Drake said.

Drake knows how badly fans wanted him to end up with Rihanna.

The "Hotline Bling" rapper and Rihanna first became linked in 2005 at a Toronto diner where Rihanna shot her music video for debut single "Pon De Replay".

Premier League best bets: Manchester United look good value to beat Chelsea
Manchester United are the strongest team in the Premier League on a player-by-player basis, according to Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri .

Over the following years the pair continued to appear friendly - before August 2016 when Drake awarded Rih the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award and told the audience that he had been "in love with" Rihanna since he was 22.

For now, however, it looks like their on-and-off romance is currently off, with Rihanna telling Vogue back in May, "We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either", she said. The singer and mogul later admitted she was uncomfortable with Drake's behavior and said they weren't friends anymore. "She's a living breathing legend in our industry". "It is what it is".

The "Wild Thoughts" singer, however, has a relationship and a son with Sophie Brussaux, who is a former adult film actress and French artist.

Drake even opened up about his past life, particularly how his upbringing and strained relationship with his parents affected his fatherhood. The NBA star, on the other hand, commented on the baby's eyes, which he referred to as "crazy blue eyes". He's already in the pool shooting the basketball.
