Usain Bolt scores two goals in A-League practice match

The eight-time Olympic champion was named in the Mariners' starting line-up against Macarthur South West United on Friday, with Mike Mulvey's men running out comfortable winners.

In August, Bolt made his debut for the Mariners, coming off the bench during a 6-1 pre-season rout against amateur outfit Central Coast Select.

Bolt, 32, earned his first start within his high-profile trial with the Hyundai A-League side and the fixture was dubbed as the key opportunity to secure his first professional football contract.

The retired eight-time Olympic gold medalist sprinter is trying to secure a place with the Mariners for this season, which begins for the Mariners on October 21 against the Brisbane Roar.

He capitalised on a defensive mix-up for his second, with Macarthur defender and goalkeeper colliding to leave Bolt to tap in from close range.

Bolt pointed to the sky in his trademark "lightning bolt" celebration, but the world's fastest man still had more to offer.

West is married to reality television star Kim Kardashian , who pushed Mr Trump to grant a pardon for a drug offender this year. He said that his dream was to have both Trump and Colin Kaepernick wearing a "Make America Great" hat.

Despite his accolades, he's always insisted that he'd like to get involved in football and has even talked about trials with clubs such as Manchester United.

Showing that he is not just any trialist, Bolt signalled to the bench that he wanted five more minutes, but his hat trick was not forthcoming and he left the field to a standing ovation.

"Scoring a goal in your first proper match, the first start and scoring two goals, it was a good feeling", Bolt told Fox Sports after the game. "I'm keen to be a Mariner, and get into the team".

"I think [Bolt] can make it".

"This will determine. (what) the club want to do with my career, so it's a very important game", Bolt said on Wednesday. He just looks a little bit sharper, not a great deal to be honest.

"He fits in very well and he has made enormous improvements".
