Meghan takes on Harry in netball shootout


Dancer Ginger Rogers famously did everything her partner Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels. The royal got active on the court at Loughborough University as she tossed around balls (in heels, no less!) during the event that celebrated young athletes.

The royal couple will then attend the awards ceremony, hosted by TV sports presenter Jake Humphrey.

Meghan, 37, could be seen getting into the swing of things, taking part in a netball shootout while Harry, 34, mingled with graduates from the young athletes program.

Upstaging the happy couple at weddings is par for the course for Prince George . Pippa, who is expecting her first child anytime soon, did not attend.

While the duke shot hoops with marathon runner Paula Radcliffe, former England batsman Mark Ramprakash, ex-England rugby player Ugo Monye and ex-US basketball star David Robinson.

Harry and Meghan went head-to-head in the test of skill at Loughborough University, and were joined by sporting stars and graduates of the Royal Foundation's Coach Core programme. The Foundation was set up as a vehicle for Prince William and Prince Harry's charitable work in 2009.

Meghan and Harry couldn't stop smiling during their official day out together and the couple, who tied the knot at Windsor Castle in May, were also caught on camera sharing a few tender moments as Harry wrapped his arm around his giggling wife.
