Fins' Hayes tears ACL trying to avoid sack flag

Miami Dolphins defensive end William Hayes will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL he suffered trying to avoid a roughing-the-passer penalty. Critics point out it is hard to make a clean tackle without putting weight on a quarterback.

Hayes tore his anterior cruciate ligaments in Sunday's victory over the Oakland Raiders as he sacked quarterback Derek Carr.
