Mysterious New Creature Appears In Pokemon GO, Confuses Everyone

The Pokemon was also said to come to Pokemon GO, the super popular mobile game.

There will be plenty for Pokemon GO players to do during Chikorita Community Day tomorrow, and so anyone serious about the game should be sure not to miss any of the action. To make things even more confusing, some players reported seeing Kecleon - a generation three Pokemon that has not yet appeared in the game - spawning instead of the new Pokemon, but any attempted Kecleon catches similarly transformed into Ditto or Chikorita. You can find the full schedule for each major region, as taken from the official Pokemon website, below. Well, I got the answer for you. Pokemon GO's network traffic has just leaked one of the Generation 8 Pokemon numbers and a placeholder sprite to accompany it. Chrales, the usual go-to data miner for anything relating to network traffic leaks, had discovered something odd in the network: assets for a Pokemon with the ID 891.

When Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! were first revealed, the trailer contained a tease for a brand-new Pokémon unlocked by linking the games to Pokémon GO.

But that's not the coolest part, the coolest part is the new Pokemon, one completely new, never seen in the series before, is making its way on both Switch and smartphone title.

This is probably the biggest mystery we've seen in Pokemon Go since players questioned where Ditto was back in summer 2016.

Alzheimer's rates will rise dramatically over the next 40 years
More than 200 clinical studies on Alzheimer's are recruiting participants in the US right now, the Banner Institute said. The study says there are now almost 3.2 women in the USA living with dementia , compared to almost 1.8 million men.

But let's talk about the "New Pokemon 891" found by Chrales and posted on his Twitter account.

Also in the Unity files for the game, the new Pokemon is listed as number 891, so it's definitely Gen 8 and not a Gen 7 add-on like many were suggesting.

Currently, the encyclopedia of all known Pokemon, the Pokedex, ends at entry #807. It seems that we could have answers soon, but in the meantime, players should keep an eye out for this odd mystery Pokemon.

Do you care to be the Godfather of the new Pokemon?
