John Hancock makes fitness tracking 'mandatory' for insurance

John Hancock has ceased underwriting traditional life insurance policies in favor of new interactive life insurance policies.

John Hancock, a life insurance company that was founded during the Civil War, announced yesterday that it will require all policyholders to record fitness and health data using wearable devices. We believe offering Vitality on all life insurance policies, at no additional cost, is the right thing to do for our customers, our business and society. The points are translated into discounts.

John Hancock has offered plans with the fitness tracking option since 2015 and has already provided more than $2 million Dollars in rewards from other companies.

"When this new life insurance product was filed, we worked to expedite approval so California consumers could benefit from more life insurance options as well as monetary discounts for healthy living".

John Hancock launched its first interactive policy in 2015 and will now apply the model across all of its policies.

Moscow 'planned to help Julian Assange flee'
It was not immediately evident if Ecuadorean officials had any contact with Russian Federation as part of the Assange appointment.

The company said the results are compelling: Vitality policyholders take almost twice as many steps as the average American and have logged more than 3-million healthy activities.

"The remarkable results of our Vitality offering convinced us this is the only path forward for the industry", said Brooks Tingle, President and CEO of John Hancock Insurance.

"There are a number of ways you can earn rewards throughout this program ... whether that's getting a regular checkup or whether that's eating healthy or reading news releases that we have in terms of how to eat nutritionally", Harrison said.

"We have smartphones, smart cars and smart homes". Wearing a smart device is not mandatory to keep your insurance.

Instead, it will exclusively sell interactive policies that require policyholders to use fitness trackers. The product has been available in other countries for some time.
