Kanye West claims he's moving back to Chicago permanently

Yesterday (Monday, September 17) was a big day for Kanye West.

Rapper Kanye West has homes in California and NY, but the Chicago native announced he is coming home. "Second thing is, I want to tell you about the ideas I'm working on firsthand that I've tweeted and Instagrammed about".

The event was hosted by Chance the Rapper, and West hinted that they'll release new music together. "It's called Good A** Job".

And as men, all three of y'all, y'all come talk to me, come holler at me. "All that just isn't sitting right with me". We are in love and we are a family.

TMZ later reported that while Kanye and wife Kim Kardashian will be keeping all their properties in Los Angeles - where they now live with their three kids, North, 5, Saint, 2, and 8-month-old Chicago - they have already found property in the city their third daughter is named after. A source told TMZ that the rapper has already found a new house in Chicago, but will keep his current home in Calabasas, California, where his family resides. News broke that he's set to appear on the season 44 premiere of Saturday Night Live and also appeared to be teasing a follow up to Yeezus.
