#Zlatan500: Ibrahimovic joins Ronaldo and Messi in milestone club with outrageous goal

Swedish football icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted his 500th career goal in football on Saturday for LA Galaxy against Toronto FC - and it has to be seen to be believed.

The Swedish star whipped in the goal with a roundhouse kick on a volley off of a looping pass from Jonathan dos Santos in the 43rd minute to reach the milestone.

The 36-year-old Swede scored the 500th goal of his seemingly neverending professional career in spectacular fashion on Sunday (NZ time).

Toronto had jumped out to a 3-0 first-half lead before Ibrahimovic's goal fueled a furious Galaxy rally that saw a tie game by the 58th minute.

The stunning goal took Ibrahimovic's tally to 17 for the season, 11 adrift of MLS leader Josef Martinez. He also played for the Swedish worldwide team.

Ibrahimovic has netted 438 goals across 747 appearances in his club career with Malmö FF, Ajax, Juventus, FC Internazionale, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris-Saint Germain, Manchester United and the LA Galaxy, adding 62 goals in 114 senior appearances for Sweden.

Ibrahimovic joined Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi as the only active players with 500 career goals for club and country.
