Sarri is keen on John Terry

"He has won everything with the club, so it's up to him".

At the end of the 2016/17 season, Terry bid farewell to his club and joined Championship side Aston Villa for a free transfer.

Chelsea will be aiming to maintain their impressive 100% start to the Premier League season when they welcome Neil Warnock's newly promoted Cardiff to Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon. "But I think also we need to improve, and we can improve". I don't know the situation now.

"Here is John Terry's home".

"I am open to the idea [of him returning], of course".

The Blues are now preparing to welcome the Welsh side to Stamford Bridge as Maurizio Sarri's men look to continue their fine start to the new campaign.

The upcoming Season 10 is the second year of a two-year pickup, and the network has been eyeing an 11th. In addition to the challenging story line, the hit show is entering the last season of its contract.

And the Italian gaffer has chose to swap skippers, with defender Gary Cahill no longer a sure-fire starter at Stamford Bridge.

"In a few days, one week, he will be ready to play. Maybe it's better for him to have two days of training", Sarri said.

"Mentally the match after the (international) break it is very hard; materially because we will play against a very physical team", he said. "But, if he wants to help us, I'm really very happy".

"It's a hard game for everybody, against Cardiff", Sarri added.

"At the moment I can answer Manchester City or Liverpool", said Sarri, when asked at his pre-match press conference yesterday who he felt were title challengers. "We need another step to be at the same level", said the Blues head coach.

The Brazilian has played every single minute of the Blues' Premier League campaign so far this season and continues to remain at the top of the pecking order, despite Chelsea shifting to a back four this season.
