Multiple Final Fantasy Titles Announced for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One

In a bombshell of an announcement, a whole slew of Final Fantasy games will be heading to the Switch. This is the first time any of these games are being released on a Nintendo system. This new version includes more Champions (classic Final Fantasy characters) and Mirages (monsters), and a new feature called Avatar Change that allows you to actually play as some of those Champions, rather than just summon them.

The second game is World of Final Fantasy Maxima.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition had also already been announced, at a PlayStation event earlier in the week, but it will also be coming to Switch next year, complete with online multiplayer and new areas. The HD version of the iOS and Android game launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last week.

Horrific details emerge in Jabari Bird assault case
Bird attacked the victim over the course of several hours, prosecutors said, at times throwing her against a wall. Bird was originally scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, but that was delayed as he remained hospitalized at St.

During the Direct, we learned that Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is out right now on Switch with World of Final Fantasy: Maxima making its way to the console in November.

On top of that is Chocobo's Dungeon: Everybuddy!, a new entry in the Mystery Dungeon roguelike series that will be out this winter. I for one am beyond relieve to see Square Enix finally supporting Xbox with their re-releases and remasters, and this certainly makes it likely the developmentally-challenged FF7 remake will come our way as well.
