Lloris still Spurs captain despite drink drive conviction, says Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur have been rocked by the news that both Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli will miss Saturday lunchtime's crunch clash with Premier League leaders Liverpool, who are bidding for a fifth win on the bounce when they take on a depleted Spurs side at Wembley.

"If not, we're not going to take a risk because he missed a lot of games and we have ahead of lot of games to play".

Alli suffered a slight muscle strain in England's Nations League defeat to Spain last weekend. He had not been allowed to play in the tournament by his old club Bayer Leverkusen four years ago.

The Frenchman was fined a sum of £50,000 by the magistrate after he pled guilty in front of the court and Spurs manager Pochettino has backed his captain to accept the consequences and pay the price for the "costly" mistake.

When Apple announced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus , it made a rather "courageous" move and killed off the headphone jack. In terms of price, the iPhone XR retails for less than the iPhone XS , costing $749 to pick up at launch.

"I told him today: 'Where is my present, Sonny?" Then [we must accept] we are men and women and of course we can... Only we need to try [to ensure] that he understands and he understands that it was a mistake. "The last two weeks were fantastic for him". "I'm happy because the circumstances of the summer were so different from another season". Because he is a clever, he learns and now he is going to move on'. "It will be a massive impact for us for the future, and we are so happy that he is so close to being at his best".

Pochettino said Lloris would remain captain despite his drink-driving case, replying "of course" when asked whether that would be the case. All that happened (in court) is not good and he does not feel great. He said he is guilty of this situation and is responsible. "But the most important thing is it is not a big issue and he will be available as soon as possible".

Hugo Lloris on the other hand, is not injured, but was pulled over by police for driving while intoxicated about which the Argentinian coach stated: "He said he is sorry, anyone can make a mistake, he did it and he is suffering, he is punishing himself".
