Haley says Palestinians have only ever asked for cash, 'badmouthed' US

"Security coordination between Israel and the Palestinian security forces happens first and foremost because it serves Abbas".

Thursday marks 25 years since the first Oslo Accords were signed.

Critic's of Israel's policies in Judea and Samaria claimed that the growth of Israeli communities and towns, in what was called Area C under the Oslo Accords, prevented the creation of a contiguous Palestinian state.

One of these obligations was that the Palestinian leadership would not unilaterally seek global recognition for a Palestinian state but instead would have to negotiate with Israel about the so-called two-state solution.

Katz reacted to Trump's decision to close the offices of the PLO in the United States.

And there was no agreement to freeze the expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The Trump team in recent weeks has cut funding to a series of Palestinian interests, including aid to the West Bank and Gaza, to East Jerusalem hospitals, and to the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, as well as closing the PLO's offices in Washington.

Since the signing, according to European Union statistics, the number of Israeli settlers has increased from about 100,000 to more than 600,000.

His coffin, draped in Ghanaian national colors, has since laid in state for public viewing ahead of the burial on Thursday. She expressed sadness at his passing but praised the late diplomat for his huge service to humanity.

"If we don't make a deal, we're not paying", Trump said in the call. "Why would we continue to fund the Palestinians?"

Israeli-Palestinian peace talks collapsed in 2014.

Both steps and led the Palestinian leadership to boycott Washington's peace efforts spearheaded by Jared Kushner, Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law.

Palestinian officials have charged that the Trump administration has come up with "nothing of substance" in trying to end the decades-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict despite the U.S. president's stated confidence in securing what he calls "the ultimate deal".

Israel's Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's office Michael Oren, the former Israeli ambassador to the United States, concurred and said that Trump simply restored the rules of the game and forced the Palestinian leadership to pay a price for its policy change vis a vis Israel.

Since Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital a year ago, the Palestinians have rejected any efforts from Washington to revive the peace process, saying the administration has relinquished its capacity to act as an honest mediator.

The US administration also closed the Palestinian diplomatic mission in Washington on Monday, after it accused the Palestinian officials of not supporting peace talks with Israel.
