Transfer: Zidane makes contacts with Manchester United, wants Mourinho's job

Zinedine Zidane 'is interested in managing Manchester United' and 'wants to succeed Jose Mourinho as early as next season'.

Mourinho's relationship with Shaw has been called into question on a number of occasions in the past, with the Portuguese boss publicly criticising the full-back on numerous occasions.

The 46-year-old is now out of work after he resigned as Real Madrid manager in May just five days after guiding the club to their third consecutive Champions League trophy.

Zidane managed to get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.

Many United fans are unhappy with Jose Mourinho's demeanour and style of play, with some looking for him to be replaced in what is - historically - a crucial third season for Mourinho's reign.

When the report was released Tuesday, it became clear that numerous petitioners are priests accused of sexual misconduct. Twenty of the grand jurors said Tuesday they objected to "any attempts to censor, alter, redact or amend" the report.

Manchester United have been handed a massive boosted with news that new summer signing Diogo Dalot will train with his teammates for the first time this week since making the switch from Porto.

Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld and Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng were both wanted by Mourinho, but United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was unable to strike a deal for either player.

Mourinho is still under contract at Manchester United and will continue as manager for the foreseeable future.

The 19-year-old has been recovering in recent months after undergoing surgery in May and although he travelled with the rest of the United squad to the United States for their pre-season tour, he didn't feature in any games and only took part in light individual training away from the main group.

The news may please United fans, and would surely leave Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial feeling optimistic - and not just due to their seemingly frayed relationships with Mourinho.
