Priyanka Chopra Wants To Play A Man, Act On Broadway

Priyanka Chopra, who was recently in Delhi for an event, opened up about her "dream of playing a man", being a part of Broadway theatre and "turning tables" through her show Quantico, reports news agency IANS.

Last month, People magazine confirmed that Nick had popped the question to Priyanka during their recent trip to London when the actress celebrated her 36th birthday.

Although both of them had been maintaining a silence over the matter until now.

The rumours of their wedding began when she opted out of Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat and he dropped a hint that she left the film because of a "very special reason", which she told the makers in the "Nick of time".

Israel kills two Hamas gunmen in Gaza, sides dispute circumstances
The Gaza Health Ministry say pregnant 23-year-old Enas Khammash and her 18-month daughter were killed in Jafarawi in central Gaza. A video has been circulating on social media that captures the terror that Israelis endure when Hamas launches rockets at them.

Speaking at the interactive session - "Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths", co-organised by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Yes Bank, Priyanka Chopra made it quite clear that her personal life was her business and no-one else's. "That's the next thing I want to do", said the actress, who also expressed a desire to do Broadway as she loves watching theatrical productions when she is in NY. "I really want to be that person who can be a support other girls out there because we get less opportunities anyway", she said.

Priyanka will be next seen in Shonali Bose's "The Sky Is Pink", where she plays the mother of an 18-year-old girl, played by Zaira Wasim. In fact, Priyanka even went as far as to remove what appeared to be an engagement ring from her hand as she was leaving the Delhi airport to keep the engagement chatter to a minimum.

Her next Hollywood release will be "Isn't It Romantic?" and she is reportedly in talks to star with Chris Pratt in "Cowboy Ninja Viking".

Actress Priyanka Chopra's whirlwind romance with Nick Jonas is making headlines right, left and centre.
