According to reports, an Israeli man was slightly injured when two rockets from Gaza landed in the southern town of Sderot.

A video has been circulating on social media that captures the terror that Israelis endure when Hamas launches rockets at them.

Palestinian militants fired dozens of rockets into Israel and the Israeli military carried out scores of air strikes as fighting near the Gaza-Israel border intensified overnight into Thursday.

Yesterday, an IDF tank shelled a Hamas observation post along the Gaza border, which killed two terrorists, after an attack by Hamas snipers.

The last four months have seen an upsurge in violence along the Gaza-Israel border.

Human rights groups have accused Israeli troops of using excessive force at the protests, but the military said they only opened fire in self-defence or on people trying to infiltrate its territory. Israel temporarily suspended fuel shipments to Gaza in July for similar reasons.

Israel has lost tracts of farmland and forest to fires started by kites and helium balloons laden with incendiary material which have caused fires in Israeli forests and farmlands and flown over the border by Palestinians in Gaza.

At the same time Israeli aircraft struck 140 targets belonging to the Hamas Islamist group that controls the Gaza Strip.

The Swedish vessel, named "Freedom for Gaza", was intercepted on August 4th and taken to Israel's port Ashdod its organizers said - the second such boat of the "Freedom Flotilla" prevented from reaching Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry say pregnant 23-year-old Enas Khammash and her 18-month daughter were killed in Jafarawi in central Gaza.
