Weather Authority: Showers possible mainly south on Tuesday

On Monday, we will continue to see the heat and humidity stick around with more widespread scattered storms across the area expected. This may give us a slightly better chance for rain.

Once again, we could see an isolated shower or T'storm on Thursday afternoon with a weak cool front rolling through. A cold front arrives in the afternoon, spreading showers and thunderstorms, especially in our Metro and South Zones. Some storms could produce strong gusty winds and hail. Temperatures should reach the mid 80s before storms fire.

The weekend is looking increasingly pessimistic. Partly cloudy skies become mostly sunny Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s inland and upper 70s at the lakefront.

And in suburban Seattle, three Democrats vied in a jungle primary for the seat held by another retiring Republican, Rep. While Kobach has the backing of President Trump , Colyer has the support of the state's Republican establishment.

We are watching a non-tropical, surface low pressure system centered about 1200 miles southwest of the Azores.

Still doesn't look like a washout for Saturday and Sunday, but rain chances will lurk. With the rain and added cloud cover, temperatures will be pulled back to the 80's, more seasonal level temperatures.
