Ronda Rousey 'won't watch' Brock Lesnar face Daniel Cormier in UFC

Ronda Rousey 'won't watch' Brock Lesnar face Daniel Cormier in UFC

The reason for this, according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is down to Vince McMahon banning any mention of Lesnar's name. However, he notes that it would be a great situation for WWE if Lesnar were able to defeat Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Title, making him a Champion in both UFC and WWE at the same time. Mike Johnson from PWInsider reported that we might not see Lesnar for a while so a SummerSlam match is not guaranteed.

Lesnar is expected to face Cormier inside the Octagon at a later date. It's clear there wasn't a lesson learned from that by WWE and they'll continue trying to go to the "loyalty" card to get fans on Roman's side, which seems like a futile effort at this point. Vince McMahon was apparently "adamant" that announcers not talk about Lesnar at all on Raw as he wants to turn him into a mega heel. That match was then scratched. Now Reigns will face Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules but there were no stakes stated yet. The problem with that is that Lesnar is still under contract to the company and he still has the WWE Universal Championship in his possession. To never actually pull the trigger on that would be an enormous waste of time in some ways, though the storyline hasn't played out as well as WWE had hoped, so scrapping the match might also be looked at as a way of cutting their losses before wasting even more time.

Jeremy Lin traded to Hawks
According to Wojnarowski , however, league sources said they expect the Hawks to now trade Schroder this offseason. The Hawks have acquired point guard Jeremy Lin from the Nets, according to ESPN.

Lesnar made a shock return to Dana White's promotion last week when he confronted the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and UFC Heavyweight Champion at the T-Mobile Arena.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that this superstar is Money in the Bank victor Braun Strowman and for a very important reason. With Brock Lesnar definitely on his way out and heading back to the UFC, the Universal Championship is going to have to change hands and it will likely happen at SummerSlam.
