Jeremy Lin traded to Hawks

Jeremy Lin is on the move again.

The Hawks have acquired point guard Jeremy Lin from the Nets, according to ESPN.

Lin averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 36 games for the Nets during the 2016-17 season while dealing with a lingering hamstring injury.

The Nets weren't done there, either. The deal will also trade future second-round draft picks. According to Wojnarowski, however, league sources said they expect the Hawks to now trade Schroder this offseason.

Xherdan Shaqiri Set For Liverpool Medical As Deal Agreed With Stoke City
Xherdan Shaqiri will complete a medical at Melwood on Friday as the Switzerland attacker nears a £13.5 million move to Liverpool from Stoke City.

Lin, 29, played just one game last season after rupturing the patellar tendon in his right knee in the season opener against the Indiana Pacers on October 18. Heading into the summer of 2019, Brooklyn has maximum cap space for two players and potentially two first-round picks along with a young core of D'Angelo Russell, Allen Crabbe, Caris LeVert, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Jarrett Allen.

Whitehead also saw little action throughout the 2017-18 season as he only played 11.3 minutes per game in 16 outings with the Nets.
