Samsung Galaxy S10+ may feature a dual selfie camera

With Apple launching three new iPhones in September, Samsung has reportedly chose to follow Apple's lead and plans to introduce a trio of smartphones themselves for the Galaxy S10 including a premium large-screen Galaxy S10+ whose project name is Beyond 2; a basic Galaxy S10 or Beyond 1; and a cheaper version or Beyond 0. In addition, it also comes with a bigger price tag: about $15 per sensor, compared to the $2 price for a regular one.

The upcoming MWC that is to be held in February will get Galaxy S10. The 16MP front camera with an LED flash can also capture bokeh effect using the patented "Live focus" feature that allows users to manually adjust the amount of blur they want in their images. There will be twin 12 megapixel sensors, one telephoto and one wide-angle, supplemented by a 16 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

The optical fingerprint sensor on the FOD (fingerprint on display) module will be supplied by Qualcomm and will reportedly cost seven times more expensive than the conventional rear-mounted fingerprint sensors. Samsung's rival brand Apple is planning to launch three new iPhone models out of which one will be an affordable model with the LCD screen. That would be a little over $1,000 more than the Galaxy Note 8. This feature was earlier available on S Planner and is now added to Samsung Calendar as well. It has been speculated that the company may embed the speakers in the display to reduce that bezel space.
