Reds favourites to sign Paulo Dybala after latest development

A recent update regarding Liverpool's apparent pursuit of Juventus star Paulo Dybala has suggested that the Argentine isn't a target for Jurgen Klopp this summer.

And the 24-year-old has not been told by Juventus about whether he remains in Massimiliano Allegri's plans alongside Ronaldo.

Dybala's Juve future is now up in the air following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

With the Portuguese now set to take center stage in Turin, Liverpool may promise Dybala more of a starring role than what he would have at Juventus next season alongside Ronaldo.

Real Madrid are next in line to land Dybala, priced at 5/1, while Arsenal are also in the running at 8/1.

Liverpool have been busy in the transfer window, with Klopp signing midfield duo Naby Keita and Fabinho.

France are at the World Cup and with a monumental clash against Belgium scheduled for tonight, Nabil Fekir will be back home by Monday at the latest.

Liverpool FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Klopp looks to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

That failure to complete the deal for Fekir appeared to open the door for Klopp to move for Dybala, although that transfer doesn't look likely. Whether it's his No 1 or a keeper who costs £30m and he fights it out like Karius and Mignolet did, we don't know.

"The priority is another goalkeeper and a goalscorer".
