Prince Harry and Meghan visit Republic of Ireland

A clutch of royals, led by Queen Elizabeth, kicked off celebrations on Tuesday marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Air Force, including another balcony appearance at the palace for the former Meghan Markle.

After participating in the centenary celebrations, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry traveled via a private jet to Dublin for a two-day tour of Ireland - marking their first overseas engagement as a married couple.

Earlier the royals attended a service at Westminster Abbey along with dignitaries including Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn and the defence secretary, Gavin Williamson.

It will be Prince Harry and Meghan's first trip outside the United Kingdom since their wedding in May.

It's a festive week for the royal family.

The princes, all of whom have served in some capacity in the British armed forces in the distant or recent past, were resplendent in blue RAF uniforms while the women glowed in stylish ensembles.

She is also making headlines for her choice of Emilia Wickstead, who reportedly claimed that the duchess' wedding gown - a couture piece created by Givenchy's artistic director, Clare Waight Keller - bore some resemblance to one of Wickstead's own designs.

Only this morning Meghan wore a stunning A-line Dior dress and an intricate Stephen Jones fascinator and we couldn't help but think of another iconic look after seeing it.

Well, it seems like there is no bad blood here as the brunette beauty stunned in the gorgeous dress, especially with her softly curled tresses down for the event as she met with various prominent figures, such as Irish writer, academic and broadcaster Sinead Burke.

Prince Louis gained six new godparents during his christening at St James's Palace yesterday, with the service containing two lessons, two hymns and two anthems.

And Kate chose to wear a coat by Alexander McQueen, a hat by Sean Barrett, and an RAF Dacre Brooch.

Meghan Markle wore yet another dress with a bateau neckline.

Over 1,000 servicemen and women will take part in a parade on The Mall at 11.25am on Tuesday, July 10.

After arriving at Dublin City Airport, Harry and Meghan were due to meet with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
