Juventus Reportedly Agree £105 Million Deal For Ronaldo

Real Madrid is the reigning Champions League victor, while Ronaldo is the reigning Ballon d'Or victor.

Ronaldo leaves Madrid after winning 15 titles in nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu. "I only have feelings of enormous gratitude for this club, for the fans and for the city".

Ronaldo himself has penned a letter to the Madrid fans, thanking them for the time he spent.

"I believe that the time has come to begin a new stage in my life and that is why I have asked the club to accept my transfer request".

The Real Madrid striker is on a postseason break in Greece following the end of a campaign that saw him help his club to a third straight Champions League title and then captain his country at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

Juve have agreed a fee of €100 million for Ronaldo, which is slightly more than Real paid for Ronaldo nine years ago.

The 33-year-old Portuguese star will sign a four-year contract worth about $35.2 million annually.

Juve president Andrea Agnelli reportedly met up with Ronaldo in Greece on Tuesday morning, where he is now unwinding following his World Cup exertions, and the formalities were completed.

Yet, England have benefitted from his head when they played Sweden in the quarter final of the World Cup . England fans celebrate victory after the match against Sweden in Leeds July 7, 2018.

With his goals against Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first European player in history to score in eight consecutive major tournaments (World Cup and European Championships).

"I have reflected a lot and I know that the time has come for a new cycle".

Marca added that English striker Harry Kane has been linked to Real Madrid as well.

Real Madrid are eyeing a swap deal involving Gareth Bale and Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Ronaldo made his debut for Sporting Lisbon when he was 17. His crossover dribble was already famous when Alex Ferguson brought him to Manchester United ahead of the 2003-04 season and gave him the No. 7 shirt of the recently departed David Beckham.

Although Ronaldo isn't showing any signs of slowing down at the moment - he hit the top sprinting speed of the 2018 World Cup, at 34 km/h - surely even he would have little resale value so close to his forties.

He has since gone on to score 126 more times for the club, while his 85 strikes for Portgual make him his country's all-time leading goalscorer.
