Footage of George Clooney's Sardinia Accident Shows Him Flying Through the Air


According to multiple reports from local Italian media, the 57-year-old actor was injured in Sardinia, where he is now filming the mini-series, "Catch-22".

Clooney was transported to the John Paul II Hospital emergency room, but his injuries were not serious, La Stampa reported. Clooney, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the scooter and flew 20 feet in the air.

Yesterday's headline grabber was the accident involving George Clooney, who collided with a vehicle at around 8:15AM. However, he was lucky to have escaped with such minor injuries, judging by the video just released.

A representative for Clooney didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

The couple have also been joined by George's parents, Nina and Nick Clooney, and Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin. And an Italian newspaper tweeted a photo showing the smashed windshield of the Mercedes, leading to concern among fans about his condition.

The clip shows George slam into a Mercedes before flipping over the handlebars of his bike and being flung into the air.

George Clooney has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a motorbike accident in Sardinia.

The star who lives in Sonning, Berkshire with his wife Amal Clooney and their two children, doesn't appear to be badly injured. "George Clooney has already been discharged and he stays well".

The north-east coast of Sardinia is popular with the rich and famous, although Clooney is on location on the island to film a new mini-series Catch 22.
