Boyfriend of late Love Island star Sophie Gradon found dead


Aaron Armstrong, 25, was found dead on July 10 at his home just weeks after Gradon's death.

Aaron Armstrong, 25, was discovered on Tuesday at a home in Northumberland.

Armstrong had posted a number of tributes to Gradon on his social media page, sharing images of the two together on nights out and on holiday. Sophie was crowned Miss Great Britain in 2009 and was also a former Miss Newcastle.

According to police, there was no third-party involvement in the death, and a report is being prepared for the coroner. Armstrong shared a picture of the order of the service on Instagram.

A family friend who didn't want to be named told The Sun Online: "We're absolutely gutted".

Beside a picture of Sophie posted to his Instagram, he wrote: "Just wish I could cuddle you all day".

It was also Aaron who revealed Sophie's devastating death on his Facebook page in June. writing: "I will never forget that smile". On Monday, he shared a photo of him and Sophie with the message, "just wish I could cuddle you all day miss you so much man Sophie not a minute goes by with out your gorgeous smile being a picture in my mind everyday we spent together was so incredible I need them days back".

"I love you so much and just want to hold u tight and give u a big kiss I miss you so so much you will shine so bright up there my angel rest in peace handsome see u on the other side".

"She had suffered from depression and anxiety and there was talk of financial issues which obviously adds to the worry she was enduring".

Gradon was the only out LGBT person to ever appear on Love Island.
