Bobby Robson would be willing England on at World Cup, says widow

As Sunday, July 15 is a busy day in the sporting calendar, The Lexicon will be screening the gentlemen's Singles Final from 2pm until 4pm, before switching over to the World Cup Finals.

Les Blue will meet the victor of the second semifinal between Croatia and England in the final in Moscow on Sunday.

However, the two nations must overcome France and Croatia respectively to advance to the last stage of the competition. France beat Brazil 3-0 in the 1998 final with two goals from Zinedine Zidane and one from Emmanuel Petit. This is the nearest progressives have to a champion in the final four, but while his one-man mission to save the EU has won some admirers, the clashes with trade unions that have marked his first year in the Elysee has put many off.

Zidane is considered one of the best players of all time, winning man of the match in France's only World Cup win and playing an important role in their success in the European Championship two years later. Both of these countries have needed luck on their side to get to this point, with England needing penalties to get past Colombia, and Croatia prevailing twice in shootouts - against Denmark and Russian Federation. England also needed penalties to overcome Colombia in the round of 16.

France square off against giant killers Belgium
Belgium beat France 4-3 the last time the teams met in a friendly in June 2015 in Paris, when Marouane Fellaini scored twice. Even though France has a young team , they also have a very experienced player on the team , the goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris.

Dalic's side earned a semifinal berth by beating Russian Federation on penalties while England progressed with a 2-0 win over Sweden.

"He is our captain, our leader, we follow him and if the team manages a great result and he gets the Ballon d'Or he will deserve it, and I want it for him". Eight teams are seeded on each side of the bracket.

"I wouldn't say there are any glaring weaknesses - they are in the semi-finals, that says it all", he said. Losing teams in the semi-final matches play each other for third place. Despite losing to Croatia, all members of the Russian team are being recognized as national heroes. Last weekend, Harry Kane secured a hat trick and overtook Cristiano Ronaldo for the lead.

The biggest question mark now surrounds the fitness of a team who have gone the full distance in their last two matches and had several players struggling with injuries against Russian Federation.
