Roseanne Barr cancels tell-all TV interview

Roseanne Barr cancels tell-all TV interview

It appears Roseanne Barr would only agree to talk about what led to the cancellation of Roseanne and the creation of The Conners if she controlled the interview herself.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "After a lot of thought, I decided that I won't be doing any TV interviews, too stressful & untrustworthy 4 me & my fans". She has not posted a video to the site in seven months.

The tweet was followed up by a 2015 clip from her web series,"Domestic Goddess: She's So High".

ABC canceled its successful revival of Roseanne after Barr compared Valerie Jarrett, an African-American former adviser to then-President Barack Obama, to the film Planet of the Apes in a tweet.

It's also a big win for Germany, one of the few countries allowed to send a doctor to China previous year to examine Liu Xiaobo. He thanked everyone who had cared for and helped her over the years. "She is flying to Europe to start her life anew", he said.

Before teasing the interview that will no longer happen, Barr said on a podcast with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach last week that she has "already been offered so many things".

However, by Monday evening, Barr, 65, had backed out of the interview. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks.

Roseanne Barr has cancelled a planned television interview, in favor of recording her own thoughts and explanations.

It is unclear how Barr's character will be written out of the show but the network said it will be "a sudden turn of events". In a statement, the network said, "The Conners'" stories demonstrate that families can always find common ground through conversation, laughter and love.
