Kenedy set to seal season-long loan move to Newcastle

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Kenedy has agreed to return to Newcastle on a season-long loan with the deal set to go through before Maurizio Sarri's appointment is confirmed at Chelsea.

The winger spent the second half of last season on loan from Chelsea.

He made 13 appearances for the Magpies during the course of his loan spell at the club last term, scoring twice and providing two assists for his team-mates.

The winger will join Newcastle for next season, though, as Benitez continues to press ahead with his summer dealings.

Real Madrid confirm Cristiano Ronaldo transfer to Juventus
Ronaldo, 33, has played the last nine years for Real Madrid , winning four Champions League titles and two La Liga championships. The Portuguese is now on holiday in Greece, but was reportedly paid a visit by Juventus president Andrea Agnelli on Tuesday.

He is also thought to be open to a permanent move to Newcastle United, but his preference is to stay put at Chelsea and play regular football for the Premier League giants in the coming seasons. Kenedy will spend the 2018/19 campaign as a Newcastle player.

Antonio Conte's future will have a telling effect on Kenedy's next move.

Kenedy was a prime candidate to be sold this summer to raise funds for first-team signings, but Chelsea have opted to loan him back to Newcastle after failing to find a club willing to meet their asking price, reportedly around £20 million. A new manager would have ideas for him, but if he feels he could not fit into the new system as well, then a move could be on the cards.

Asked about the possibility of returning to Newcastle in an interview with the Daily Mail in April, Kenedy said: "I am enjoying my time at Newcastle, but obviously I have a contract at Chelsea".
