James McClean 'refuses to attend' West Brom's preseason training camp

James McClean 'refuses to attend' West Brom's preseason training camp

There is an increasing sense of disarray pervading West Brom's preparations for the new season and Darren Moore will be keen to sort out the future of his remaining want-away players before the new Championship season kicks off in a little more than three weeks' time. However, they travelled north without McClean.

A report on the club's official website said the Republic of Ireland worldwide had "failed to report without permission" ahead of their departure for the camp.

James McClean has failed to report without permission and will now face internal disciplinary proceedings.

Championship side West Brom are "looking good" to sign former Leeds United defender Kyle Bartley from Swansea City.

According to The Express and Star newspaper, Stoke bid £4m (€4.5m) for the 29-year-old, but West Brom are holding out for a fee closer to £6m (€6.7m).

EgyptAir 2016 crash caused by fire, say French investigators
French investigators and the families of the French victims have deplored a lack of cooperation from the Egyptian authorities. Upon its determination the act was malicious, Egyptian officials handed the investigation over to judicial authorities.

McClean, who joined West Brom from Wigan Athletic three years ago, has made almost 100 appearances for the club since his arrival.

The Birmingham Mail reports that he and former Baggies defender Kieran Richardson are now training with the club.

McClean follows the stance adopted by Ben Foster and Craig Dawson earlier in the summer as both refused to go on a pre-season training camp to Portugal.

Why can't the Celtic soul brothers hate England like we used to?.
