George Clooney reportedly sustains minor injuries in scooter crash in Italy

George Clooney has been hospitalised after crashing his bike in Sardinia, Italy, according to reports. The BBC reported the crash took place as Clooney was leaving his hotel in Costa Corallina, a beachside town in northern Sardinia.

An ambulance took Clooney to the nearest hospital, where an MRI scan revealed that the actor was not seriously injured, according to police and health officials.

John Avlon reported that Clooney "smashed the window with his head [and] was thrown 30-feet from the accident".

La Nuova Sardegna said the 57-year-old was headed to a film set on Tuesday when his motorbike was hit by a vehicle.

Rockets Determined to Sign Carmelo Anthony
The Rockets, however, offered Capela a contract that would pay him about $13.25 million per season, the report says. Multiple teams are planning ahead for the summer of 2019 in which the free agent class will be stronger.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for George for comment.

The Batman and Robin star is staying in Sardinia for the summer with his wife, Amal, and their one year old twins, Ella and Alexander, while he films for TV series, Catch 22.

Italian news agencies said Clooney suffered a minor knee injury in the crash.

It was announced in April that the multi-talented star was reducing his role in the Hulu production so he could concentrate on his directing and producing credits.
