George Clooney reported hurt in motorcycle crash in Italy

George Clooney has been hospitalised after crashing his bike in Sardinia, Italy, according to reports.

Immediately after the crash, Clooney was transported to a nearby hospital.

The John Paul II hospital in Olbia confirmed Clooney was treated there and released after Tuesday's accident. According to Corriere, Clooney was "hospitalized" after the incident and his condition is "confidential" but not serious.

A photo published on La Nuova Sardegna website shows a black scooter on one side of the road, with a dark blue estate auto facing the other way, at an angle across the central reserve.

Clooney, 57, was riding the bike at Costa Corallina on the island of Sardinia when he was involved in a collision with a auto, according to Italy's TGR Rai Sardegna.

Prince Louis' Godparents Revealed Ahead of Today's Christening
The royal family ― sans Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip ― showed up for Prince Louis Arthur Charles' christening on Monday. Prince Harry bought a very special (and expensive) christening gift for Prince Louis , who is due to be christened today.

It's not just the Clooneys spending the summer in Italy, George's parents and Amal's mum were also seen arriving on separate flights.

Clooney is now filming TV drama Catch-22 on the Italian island.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.

Sardinia is a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea and is over 500 miles from Clooney's villa in Lake Como.
