West Ham could sign £38m Felipe Anderson within 48 hours

West Ham are nearly certain to announce the signing of Wilshere in the coming hours or days, after he was spotted outside the London Stadium wearing the famous claret and blue colours of the East end club.

'Many people know that I've had a special bond with this club growing up.

Wilshere has spoken to The Sportsman before of his childhood love for West Ham and his retaining a soft spot for the East London club despite his extensive tenure of nearly 20 years at Arsenal, having joined their academy in 2001.

Wilshere's Arsenal contract expired this summer and he made a decision to leave the club after talks with new boss Unai Emery. It feels good and of course my family and a few of my friends are West Ham fans so everyone's buzzing'.

Wilshere left Arsenal in search of first-team football as Unai Emery could not guarantee a regular spot in his starting eleven.
