Warframe Coming to Nintendo Switch

Warframe Coming to Nintendo Switch

If you weren't at TennoCon to see it yourself, you can at least watch this official Warframe on Switch trailer.

Digital Extremes recently announced a Nintendo Switch version of Warframe, which is being handled by Panic Button.

Digital Extreme's free to play third person shooter Warframe has been announced for a Switch release. Players take on the role of a Tenno, a race of ancient warriors, and have a chance to master the Warframe armor. Warframe is also known for it flexible mod system, the ability to join clans, and massive open worlds.

The port will be carried out by Panic Button, who have already weaved seemingly impossible magic by getting Doom, Wolfenstein II, and Rocket League working on Nintendo's diminutive console.

As a reminder, Panic Button has been responsible for a number of Nintendo Switch ports.

There's no release date yet for the Switch version, but you can always get a head start by downloading the game for free now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is now without a release date or even window, but when we know, you will know.

The game has over 38 million registered players across the other platforms, but does its coming to Switch want to make you help increase that number?
