Peter Fonda Apologizes for ‘Vulgar’ Trump Tweet

In another now-deleted tweet, the actor suggested using scare tactics against the children of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and Border Patrol agents.

A representative for Fonda told Fox News the tweets were an effort to "make sure that (first lady) Melania and (Trump daughter) Ivanka communicate with the president the dire circumstances of separating mothers and young children".

According to a spokesperson for the First Lady, the Secret Service was notified of Fonda's vicious tweet and are actively investigating the posting.

"We should hack the system, get the addresses of the ICE agents [Customs and Border Protection] agents and surround their homes in protest".

The all-capitals tweet in the wee hours went on to call President Donald Trump an expletive.

Peter Fonda is apologizing for a tweet about Barron Trump.

Ms Grisham called the tweet "sick and irresponsible" in a statement to U.S. media.

"I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television", Fonda explained in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "It was wrong and I should not have done it".

Ironically, as Fonda calls for people to take drastic action, he says that "I can't be the organizer for they'll arrest me for conspiracy to commit sedition". He's also said some nasty things about White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

He has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration. He later signed an executive order declaring it is his administration's policy to "maintain family unity", including by detaining entire families together "where appropriate and consistent with law and available resources".
