Square Enix's E3 2018 showcase is short and sweet

Anyone game for another round of Trails with some more imaginative obstacles and tracks.

With multiple new games coming in the next year, the Square Enix E3 2018 showcase was a necessity to show off what was coming in their games.

The user also goes on to claim that there won't be any vehicles, tombs will be both harder to find and much more unsafe, and that the game's antagonist is (Spoiler) Doctor Dominguez. The part live-action, part in-engine reveal trailer wasn't long, and information about the game is pretty thin, but what we do know is that more information will be coming this August. We're most excited about hearing more news on Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Another interesting game from developer Dontnod, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit take place in the same world as Life is odd.

Dragon Quest XI will be releasing on PS4 and Steam in the west on September 4. Some of the newly announced list of corporations that will share their enticing reveals with PC gaming fans include Crytek, Starbreeze, Digital Extremes, Cloud Imperium Games and much more. Babylon's Fall is set to release in 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and STEAM PC.

Besides a trailer featuring a man beating up some thugs, details about the game are scarce. They are using full CGI-style animation for that game, which means it may be a while before it comes out.

The Square Enix showcase for E3 2018 was hyped up, with the promise that the company's "next chapter is about to begin".

Rico Rodriguez returns in Just Cause 4 with his trademark parachute, wingsuit and, of course his grapple hook, now enhanced with new functionality and fully customisable. It is unique, rare and always a pleasure to see Avalanche trying new things. The first was The Quiet Man, which came with a freaky trailer of what looked like a deaf man beating other people up. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below. I hope we aren't waiting forever for them. Still, we're intrigued to see what Square plans to do to follow up on the third (massive!) game in the series.

Square Enix is simply to show two trailers announcing the release of the Deny Automata on Xbox with most of the DLC, and that ofOctopath Traveler that will be available on Switch on the 13 July.

Don't want to miss any of the E3 2018 action? It provided an in-depth look at the game's Frozen world. I don't feel like it is an entitlement to say that there should be just a little bit more effort.
