Chance of Showers, Storms Monday

Chance of Showers, Storms Monday

The next rain and storms chance will arrive on Tuesday with a passing cold front.

The front will become stationary in the area. The heat and humidity continue as afternoon high temperatures reach the low 90s and heat indices in the mid to upper 90s. Gusty winds, hail, vivid lightning and very heavy rain are the main threats.

Rain and storms will linger overnight but will clear up by the morning. Mostly cloudy early, then becoming sunny with a high around 90.

Tonight: Showers and storms seem likely during the evening into the overnight, and again any heavier storms could produce some flooding. Lows will be around 60. That can cause local high water issues to develop tonight and Wednesday. Storms look to slide out for most of next Sunday with highs returning to the low 90s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 7 a.m.

Nadal, in an on-court interview, also said he's sure that runner-up Thiem will win the tournament in "the next couple of years". Nadal then served out that game. "Just thinking in a positive way and just thinking that I have to hold".

Thursday night - A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low in the lower 70s.

The strong to severe storms will be moving through the mountains this afternoon into the evening hours.

With a lot of tropical moisture in the air coupled with high temperatures, South Florida can expect similar conditions throughout the week.

Sunday - Mostly sunny with a high around 95.
