Wonder Woman sequel photos reveal major character returns

We certainly didn't know that her human love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), would be making an appearance - unaged and seemingly whole.

"Wonder Woman 1984" is the official title of the sequel, and Pine will be back as Steve Trevor.

Pictures has officially announced the start of production on Wonder Woman 1984, the upcoming sequel to last year's Wonder Woman which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office.

Judging by the people's clothes, Trevor is definitely in the 1980s... so this isn't a flashback. And, sure enough, autumn 2019 will see Gal Gadot return as Diana Prince, with Patty Jenkins, who brought the character to the screen so successfully the first time around, returning as director.

With Kim summit, Trump retreats from US moral leadership
In a post-summit interview with ABC News , the president said he was confident that the agreement meant full denuclearisation . Kim said there would be a "major change" in the world.

Trevor, of course, sacrificed himself during World War I in 2017's Wonder Woman. In addition to Gadot and Pine, the sequel's cast includes Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig in the role of the super-villain The Cheetah. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Walter Hamada, and Geoff Johns are executive producers.

Gal Gadot takes in numerous popular television programs from 1984 in a new photo for Wonder Woman 2, or as the film looks to now be titled, Wonder Woman 1984. Oscar-nominated editor Richard Pearson (United 93) will cut the film.

Warning: Possible spoiler for Wonder Woman 1984 ahead.
