Trump Says Kim Jong Un Agreed To Destroy 'Major' Missile Testing Site

As per the Guardian, amid the handshakes and photo ops, Trump spoke of the "very comprehensive" agreement that would "take care of a very big and very unsafe problem for the world".

Trump is most likely hoping that he can strike a deal with Kim in order to bounce back from his contentious, recent meeting with the G7.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov approved of the meeting in Singapore, Interfax reported. Trump left that summit early and, as he flew to Singapore, tweeted that he was yanking the US out of the group's traditional closing statement.

The President walked over to the huge armored Cadillac - which has a wealth of top secret features - with Kim by his side after they finished bipartisan talks and a working lunch.
